轉眼間來到澳洲也四個月了，在這裡工作也開始有小小的心得了。
從台灣到新加坡到現在的澳洲，到國外工作的轉折跟艱辛與孤獨，我相信只有過來人才能了解。
今天想要分享台灣跟澳洲急診護理師的區別
1.工作時數:
台灣工時是每週40小時（不論加班）澳洲則是38小時（全職）
我發現在工作的同事很多人都選0.8 就是每週僅上班四天週休三日。
以我自己為例，我每週工時75小時，我每兩週只上三天班，每天12.5小時但是包含三個休息時間（有給錢的休息）
2.薪水：
在台灣是用月薪算，在澳洲則是會被換算成時薪。
每個人根據職級，時薪都會不一樣。
夜班費的部分，台灣是每一班給900-1200台幣不等的夜班費，在澳洲則是每小時時薪再多給27％
另外政府規定雇主需要幫忙存退休金，每次發薪水醫院都會再額外給11％倒退休金帳戶。（類似勞保，台灣提撥6%)
另外台灣是用月薪給，澳洲是給雙周薪，也就是兩週會領一次薪水
另外我覺得有一點超好的則是週末班！
週末-星期六時薪會多50%，星期天則會多75%
如果國定假日則會給到150%，假設每小時時薪本來是40澳幣，國定假日上班就會變成100澳幣每小時！！！
老實說澳洲的薪水跟台灣比可能會多到兩倍左右。。。（跟我以前工作的地點相比）
3.工作環境
以我以前在台北的工作環境為例，在急診觀察區，白班1:10左右有時候更多，大夜班就不用說了1:15是常態。
在澳洲類似急診觀察區，兩個護理師照顧六個病人，或者3個護理師照顧8個病人。
兩兩一個team，基本上大家會互相幫忙，當然有時候也會有那種討厭的…
在輕症的留觀，最多則是兩個人照顧10個病人。
說實話在澳洲我也是覺得工作挺忙的，因為要顧慮到更細節的事情，也沒有學姊charting 在幫忙等等。
4.病人餐食
以前在台灣急診，通常是請家屬幫忙買食物進來，因為急診不供餐，但是在澳洲
急診有提供….熱餐，會有專人發餐護理師不用管
另外還有：
三明治,沙拉,果凍,布丁,起司,餅乾,冰淇淋等
飲料也有茶,咖啡.果汁（蘋果或者柳橙）,牛奶,豆奶,美祿等可以選
是病人需要就我們可以提供的。
5.勞動條件
台灣有時候需要加班但是沒有加班費，這裡則是如果加班直接給兩倍時薪。
但是有時需要人也需要做到double shift, 我最高做過18個小時的工作，下午兩點一路工作到隔天早上八點。
在台灣應該是不可能發生的事情。
6.電人的學姊
在台灣新人很常被電，會一天到晚被追著抽血結果，Xray follow up 等等．在這裡則不用管抽血結果，醫生會自己看
唯一做完心電圖或是VBG 需要跟醫生告知，請他們看報告。
講完這麼多比較，當然也會遇到一些不開心的事情，例如剛開始到這裡的語言隔閡，因為澳洲的英文也有自己特別的腔調，就如同我開始到新加坡一樣，需要適應，前面兩週我聽當地人在講話，我大概40%都聽不懂，直到最近才比較好一點，有時候是我表達別人會聽不懂，有時候同事會聽不懂，這時候就會很懊惱自己英文不夠好。
此外，雖然大部分同事及病人都很好，仍會有少部分人有點種族歧視（這個很主觀）
在塔州已經是公認種族歧視比較少的區域了，不得不說99%的病人真的人都超好，非常客氣，講話也都慢慢說。
遇到種族歧視，就當作修煉自己，別理他們就好。
